Like so many picture-takers, she began taking photographs as a way to record family memories shortly after her first child was born, and over the years has taken volumes of pictures of her family and friends, her extensive travels, and her charitable and humanitarian work.
Ferguson has contributed picture-taking tips and personal photographs to the second volume of Kodak’s “Definition of a Great Picture” Guide, which promotes Kodak High Definition film. The guide includes one of Ferguson’s photos of Little Red, the doll who is the heroine of her new children’s book series.
Fergie’s tips include: Brace the camera for a steady shot. Choose a film designed for clarity. Vary the camera angle. And keep the background simple.
