Preclick announces Photo Organizer

Lifetime provides unique SmartPhoto technology, which for the first time enables users to store, print, share, and upload photos with fast searchable data and editing parameters.

Lifetime’s SmartPhoto technology enables users to notate keywords on the ‘back’ of their digital photos. This user information – called ‘metadata’ – is easily entered into Preclick’s copy-righted PhotoBack interface, and includes caption, subject, title, event, place and photo rating. Convenient pull-down lists maintain items already entered. Such powerful notations enable Preclick users to instantly find, group, and manage their growing photo collections. Photos can be exchanged with this embedded information between Preclick compatible users, products, and services as well as XMP users (Adobe’s industry-standard format), which makes the photo information visible in Adobe Photoshop and other supported software and services.

Lifetime is the first photo product with an unlimited “undo command with memory”. Each photo edit is stored on disk so the user can restore an edited or cropped photo to a previous or original version no matter how many changes are made. Designed for speed and convenience, Lifetime downloads and installs in seconds. Users can scroll through eight photos per second in Preclick’s intuitive filmstrip interface. The software automatically detects and acquires images from removable devices and cameras. And an “Organize” tab enables users to copy files to new locations or to removable media.
