Mitsubishi Electric offers a cost-effective alternative to digital minilabs

Thanks to its two integrated dye sublimation printers, the MPU instant printing system eliminates the need for chemicals while its compact, slim design takes up a minimum of space. This minilab substitute produces 800 photos per hour in 10 x 15 cm format. Besides the standard 10 x 15 format, it is also possible to print other formats such as 13 x 18, 15 x 20, 15 x 21 and 15 x 23 cm. The system can generate extra-high-contrast prints in matt or glossy finish using a specially coated, high grade photo paper. The ability to print two lines of text on the back of the photos facilitates order processing and reorder management. 40 characters are available to record order number, date, file name and image number. When multiple orders are developed simultaneously, a stacking module for large-format prints and a sorter for finished stacks of up to 55 photos are always there to ensure smooth and orderly workflow.

The MPU is controlled by the Click 5000 central unit. With the addition of a second MPU, printers, input terminals and a Canon plotter, the photo system can be expanded into a Flexilab. Easy operation as well as versatile processing and decoration options add the perfect finishing touches to the photo system and its full range of services.
