MICRODIA ANNOUNCES HIGH SPEED 8.0GB 150XtraPRO CF CARDS

Developed by MICRODIA, the new 8.0GB 150XtraPro CF Cards is a high speed and high capacity storage card, which is targeted for professional photographers to use with Digital Single Len Reflex cameras, and of course other high performance applications such as MP3 music players, PDA and any digital devices with a compact flash slot. MICRODIA’s leading technology successfully combines high speed, high capacity and high durability into one single product in order to fulfill the demanding performance needs of fast-paced applications such as continuous burst and photojournalism.

MICRODIA’s high speed XtraPro CF Memory Cards are based on Single Level Cell (SLC) NAND Flash technology, which stores one bit per cell, and utilize an optimized controller combined with large block NAND technology to achieve high data transfer rates. Compared to Multi Level Cell (MLC) NAND Flash technology, which allows each memory cell to store two bits of information, SLC NAND Flash technology provides excellent performance well suited for professional use especially those with demanding speed requirements.

The new 8.0GB 150XtraPro CF Memory Cards, along with MICRODIA’s line of 82XtraPlus CF Memory Cards, complement MICRODIA’s comprehensive line of solid state storage cards which also include SecureDigital and MMC form factors.
