Kodak sponsors annual EFI User’s Conference Connect 2012

Kodak also will demonstrate Pprinergy Workflow connectivity to EFI Fiery digital print controllers, which allows users to drive output to the most suitable offset or digital device, schedule jobs more easily, and maximize press usage—while also providing critical tracking and reporting information.

Nick Benkovich, Kodak’s Director of Product Management for Print Workflow, will be participating in a number of educational sessions on workflow integration and automation at the event. During a breakout session titled “Kodak and EFI: Driving Integration through Partnership,” Benkovich will discuss Prinergy Workflow integration with both EFI print MIS software and EFI Fiery controllers. His session will take place on Thursday, April 12, 2012, from 1:30 to 2:45 pm. The “Monarch Planner to Prinergy Workflow Integration” session on Thursday, April 12, 2012, from 9:30 to 11:00 am will review the integration process and the return on investment customers can expect from a successful implementation.

Visitors to the Kodak booth will also see a preview of Kodak’s innovative new workflow solutions that will be unveiled at drupa 2012, including version 6 of the award-winning KODAK Prinergy Workflow System. Prinergy Workflow is widely used among commercial print and packaging companies seeking increased prepress capabilities, customizable automation, third-party integration, and advanced color and screening proficiencies. The newest version of Prinergy Workflow goes even further by providing unified job management driven by production intent, helping to reduce costs in the manufacturing process.

Kodak is a Gold Sponsor at EFI Connect, which takes place April 10-13, 2012, at the Wynn in Las Vegas. Visit booth 104 to learn more about Kodak Unified Workflow Solutions.
