HP organises specialist event digital printing

The event is hosted by HP with its finishing partner Horizon at bayerndruck – Centre for print and media in Ismaning, Munich. It includes the 3rd HP Digital Production Forum as well as three open days "digital print meets finishing". The event is supported by the trade association digitcom, and the syndicate Digitaldruck e.V. which was founded at drupa 2008.

On the first two days of the event the 3rd HP Digital Production Forum will give a practical demonstration of web-to-print solutions, with specific regard to business-to-business and business-to-consumer segments with the help of HP SmartStream Director software.

The open days will enable the visitors to see end-to-end digital print solutions in action as well as tailored production of high-quality print products with the HP Indigo press 5500. HP and Horizon, the two leading manufacturers of digital print systems and machines present typical print productions and focus on the synergies which arise from the growing importance of digital print and tailored processing. At the end of the open day, each visitor will receive an individual photobook produced on-site by Infowerk AG using HP and Horizon technology.
