Happy birthday Impossible analog instant photography

During 2010, several hundred thousands packs of the new PX 100 and PX 600 Silver Shade film for Polaroid SX 70 and 600 cameras were sold. Delivering sepia colored images in the beginning, the Silver Shade films have since then constantly been improved, and the current Silver Shade technology is producing most sharp and crispy black & white images.

To celebrate the evolution of the new instant films, Impossible created a special film edition: The Black and Grey Frame Edition of the current PX 600 Silver Shade UV+ film. The classic white frame has therefore been altered, surrounding the images with elegant and astonishing, matte grey and black frames that magically underline and frame the brilliancy of this latest Silver Shade film generation. The limited Black and Grey Frame Edition of the current PX 600 Silver Shade UV+ is 20 EUR per pack and now available at www.the-impossible-project.com as well as at selected retail partners.

Impossible’s aim from the very start was the creation of a successor for the legendary Polaroid 600 color film. Only one year after the release of the first monochrome a limited amount of beta-test film version of the upcoming PX 680 Color Shade film will be released to all Impossible Pioneer Card holders. The release of the official First Flush Edition of the PX 680 Color Shade film is scheduled for May 2011.
