Both companies intend to develop digital minilabs with higher quality in an efficient manner by using technologies that have been nurtured over the years, resulting in increased efficiency and higher customer satisfaction. Initially, Fujifilm will license Noritsu Koki main technologies that will be integrated in Noritsu’ s own production technologies and the company’s exptertise to develop and produce digital minilabs. Both companies will add the newly developed equipment to their own line of products.
The first new product will be a reasonably priced digital minilab featuring the new “iBEAM Engine” developed by Noritsu Koki Co., and Fujifilm’s CP-49E chemical system – a rapid process that enables the particularly fast production of high-quality photographic prints on Fujifilm color paper.
The two companies also aim to provide consistent and reliable services for users of digital minilabs through the establishment of a program of more efficient delivery of after-sales services.
