According to Kodak, this change will enable photofinishers to better communicate to consumers that this is Kodak’s best silver halide paper for digital printing. The company points out that, despite its name change, Kodak Royal Digital Color Paper remains a good choice for optical prints as well. The top-of-the line consumer photofinishing paper is distinguished with a thicker paper base, gold back print and enhanced performance. Kodak Royal paper will be replaced on a stock turnover basis throughout the next few months.
