The Japanese Camera & Imaging Products Association (CIPA) has abandoned its plans to host the CP + Photo and Imaging Exhibition from February 25th to 28th as a combination of physical and digital presentations in Yokohama. Due to the increasing number of corona infections, the event is now to be held exclusively online on the planned days in order to present the news from the camera and imaging manufacturers as well as the photo culture from Japan to a global audience.
In a press release, the organizers emphasize they want to ensure that as many exhibitors as possible will present their products and services at the Online edition of CP+. Details of the registration, which is scheduled to start on January 20, 2021, will be published on the trade show’s website.
