Canon with new PowerShot and Ixus cameras

The new Canon PowerShot N is equipped with the HS System, a combination of high-sensitive 12.1 MP CMOS sensor and innovative Digic 5 processor, supporting a maximum ISO sensitivity of 6400. The camera features a 28 mm wide-angle lens with an 8x optical zoom and a focal length of 28–240 mm (35 mm equivalent). With its compact design, swivelling touch display (2.8“) and innovative system of lens rings, photos can be taken even from extraordinary positions.

The PowerShot N will be available in April.

All new Ixus and PowerShot A models feature Canon’s Digic 4 processor technology combined with high resolution 16.0 Megapixel sensor.

28 mm wide-angle genuine Canon lenses allow users to capture more of a scene, providing a perfect option for family shots, birthday parties, or holiday landscapes. The new PowerShot models offer a 5x optical zoom, while the new Ixus 140’s powerful 8x optical zoom gets even closer to the subject.

The new Ixus 140 and the PowerShot A3500 IS are part of Canon’s expanded range of WiFi enabled cameras. Using Canon’s free CameraWindow application, users can wirelessly connect and transfer images or movies to both iOS and Android smartphones or tablets for enjoying on the move, or upload directly to social networks such as Facebook.

The Ixus 140 will be available in a choice of four impactful colors – Grey, Silver, Red and Pink. A large 7.5 cm (3.0’’) PureColor II G LCD screen also provides the perfect way to frame and review shots on nights out and at parties.

The PowerShot A3500 IS and PowerShot A2600 boast eye-catching aluminium front finishes available in a choice of four vibrant colors. The PowerShot A3500 IS and PowerShot A2600 feature a bright 7.5 cm (3.0’’) LCD display, while the PowerShot A1400 features a 6.7 cm (2.7’’) screen, making it easy to review images and view on-screen hints and tips. The PowerShot A1400 also features an optical viewfinder, ideal for users who prefer a more traditional shooting experience.

The new Ixus and PowerShot A cameras will be available mid February begin of March.
