X-RITE SHOWCASES COLOR MANAGEMENT IN ACTION AT PHOTOKINA 2006

X-Rite, Incorporated (NASDAQ:XRIT) (SWX:XRI) – Visitors to the X-Rite stand at Photokina will get to experience the new company’s latest color management solutions for photographers, creative professionals and digital imaging enthusiasts. From lively demonstrations by some of the world’s most celebrated digital photographers to a gallery showcasing their work, X-Rite has created an environment where visitors can truly see color management in action. "We want photographers to experience for themselves how color management can free them from constantly struggling to get the color on their monitor to match their final output"," says Iris Mangelschots, X-Rite’s vice president of Imaging and Media. Lending credence to the value of color management, some of the world’s most celebrated photographers will be presenting their work and attesting to value of implementing X-Rite Color Management Solutions. Presenters include:

Mark Alberhasky – Mark’s passion for photography spans more than 30 years. As a contributing photographer to Nikon, commercial clients and international publications, he loves to create images which portray a unique vision of the world around us. In his words, "I find subjects wherever light defines a memorable moment, be it waist deep in water off the coast of Venezula to capture a windsurfer or inches from a sterile surgical field in the operating room."

Aneesh Bhasin – Aneesh shoots almost all genres of photography, be it food or people or products. He has won two international awards for his work and has been featured in numerous websites and magazines. His images have been exhibited in the US, Canada, UK, South Africa and Australia. Aneesh publishes a regular column in Better Photography, South East Asia’s largest selling photography magazine.

Helene DeLillo – A leading beauty, fashion and entertainment photographer from New York, Helene’s images have appeared in magazines like Rolling Stone and Entertainment weekly. Her passion for clicking a digital shutter is only matched by her passion for clicking a digital mouse. Many manufacturers rely on Helene as an expert to test their digital cameras and software before release

Michael Gilbert – A leading photographer and digital print making specialist, his clients include Mercedes Benz, Hallmark, Four Seasons, and Disney. Gilbert`s photographs are widely collected. His one-person show, "From a Child`s Heart," opened at the International Museum of Photography in 2005.

Andy Katz  – The photographs created by Andy Katz have taken him around the globe. From the Old Country in Eastern Europe to the California wine country, which he now calls home, his subjects are as diverse as his travels and adventures. His evocative work is featured in museums and galleries worldwide. His latest work recently published is New Zealand: Sea, Earth, Sky.

Vincent Laforet – A Pulitizer Prize-winning photographer for the New York Times, Vincent has been called on regularly to cover major news and sporting events around the world. His works have been published in major publications across the globe. Vincent’s approach to aerial photography has been singled out as one of the most unique and interpretive amongst photographers today.

Vincent Versace – With over 25 years experience and a real-world approach to photography, Vincent’s work as a photographer and digital innovator is apparent in his work capturing Hollywood stars and shooting nature’s beauty, as well as in his constant pursuit of perfecting the digital imaging process. His work is part of the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Institution’s Museum of American History.

 

To further inspire visitors, X-Rite will be featuring a photo gallery exhibiting the work of several world renowned photographers who have incorporated X-Rite’s color management solutions into their workflow, including Greg Gorman, Andy Katz, Vincent Versace, Helene DeLillo, Neil Snape, Stuart Nielsen, Vincent La Foret, Mac Holbert, Neil Sutherland, Henrietta van der Berg and Aneesh Bhasin.
