Waleed Al Omari appointed as HP Network Country Manager for Saudi Arabia

Al Omari arrives at HP Saudi Arabia to continue strengthening HP’s presence in the Kingdom, boosting the Network business by utilising new practices and strategies that Al Omari has gained during his 22 years experience in the IT and Communication industry.

With a strong background in sales leadership, business transformation and systems engineering, Al Omari understands the abilities of HP’s Networking Solutions and how they improve efficiency and productivity for customers. This knowledge will be integral to increasing HP Network’s foothold in the Saudi market. As Country Manager for HP Network in KSA he will lead the professional team to win complex and cross functional deals, delivering increased value to clients from all segments.

HP Networking is a corner stone and one of the major pillars in HP’s Converged Infrastructure strategy, in which HP offers customers seamless dynamic and agile infrastructure to manage the ongoing demand in customers competitive landscape.

Prior to joining HP, Al Omari was based in the Kingdom with Cisco Systems having joined the company in 2002, working as Sales Director in his most recent position.

Al Omari also worked as Kingdom sales director for Gulf Start Systems (later re-named Ebttikar Technology) and Jordan Computer Systems. He holds a degree in Electrical and Communication Engineering from the University of Jordan.
