From 1996 to 2003, Kraus, who holds a Masters Degree in Law from Cologne University, was Managing Director of the Eurocolor Photofinishing Labs in Bonn and Willich, which became part of the Fujifilm Group in 1997. In 2003, he was appointed Managing Director of Eurocolor Digital GmbH and became responsible for the development of a network of photo terminals for digital photo processing as well as for the convertion of all Fujifilm Group labs in Germany to the processing of digital images.
In a press release, Fujifilm Europe said the company regrets, but respects Kraus‘ decision adding that Fujifilm had good reason to thank Uli Kraus for his previous excellent services. Until a successor will be appointed, Kraus‘ responsibilities will be taken over by Ryosuke Miki, Senior Vice President Photo Imaging Division of Fujifilm Europe GmbH.
