According to a press release, Lee’s 30-year career at Samsung has spanned a number of senior strategic and commercial roles. Prior to his appointment to the European HQ, Sunny Lee was Executive Vice President of the Global Visual Display Sales and Marketing Division in Seoul. Between 2009 and 2012 Sunny Lee was President of Samsung Electronics Germany.
Lee said: “The economic landscape in Europe is showing signs of improvement and this is a very exciting time for Samsung. Our mission in Europe is to continue to drive brand leadership by enhancing our customers work and home lives with superb products and exciting media content. We also have a commitment to support the communities here in Europe by creating new jobs, skills and investment.”
