The two companies have partnered since 2006 to offer an online photo greetings service, but this marks the first time they are bringing a line of physical products to Hallmark’s Gold Crown stores.
The Hallmark DVD Greetings are a new interactive approach to the traditional holiday newsletter. Each DVD Greeting includes a template that can be edited and customized with personal photos. The resulting creation is then automatically animated and synchronized with music. It can then be burned to the included DVD and sent with the coordinated greeting card. Individual greetings, priced at $9.99, are available in the following themes: Across the Miles, Our Baby’s First Christmas, Our Family, Christmas Fun, New Year, Year in Review, Holiday Wishes, Christmas Wishes and Merry Christmas. A boxed set of four individual cards priced at $19.95 is available with Our Family, Year-in-Review and Merry Christmas themes.
The Digital Scrapbooks feature color coordinated USB drives with embedded digital templates. The templates can be personalized with photos, text and music and then copied back to the USB drive for insertion into digital picture frames. They are available with holiday, love, family, friend and baby captions for $19.95.
