The Truepress JetW1632UV is the first Screen-branded wide-format inkjet printer combining the design and technology from both Screen and its group company Inca Digital. Visitors to the Open House will see the Truepress JetW1632UV in action printing display graphics on a range of substrates at speeds up to 94 square meters per hour.
In addition to its high productivity, the Truepress JetW1632UV supports media sizes up to 1,600 mm x 3,200 mm up to a maximum 48 mm thickness. The micro-droplet printheads deliver 1,200 dpi text, fine definition and smooth vignettes. Screen’s unique brilliant inks offer a wide color gamut and, when combined with light cyan and light magenta inks, produces photographic-quality back/front-lit displays.
During the Open House event, Screen will also present its PDF Polisher software, an automated software solution to enhance and optimize images and PDF files. The software features a number of presets to meet specific demands e.g. faces or jewellery, automatically applying different levels of contrast, sharpness and color correction.
