Samsung enters new product market with introduction of A3 multifunction printers

With an 8.9-inch, color LCD touch panel and customized user interface, the MultiXpress models are designed for usability. The flexible panel and large icons make it easy to view the device’s status and navigate menus, or complete complex print, scan, copy and fax jobs quickly. The control panel, mainframe and paper tray LEDs light up to indicate the printer’s status for a more intuitive user interface. A built-in user guide and easy toner replacement process round out the A3’s user-friendly design.

Samsung’s MultiXpress CLX-9350ND, CLX-9250ND and SCX-8040ND, SCX-8030ND printers will enhance productivity at the office by enabling users to increase print quality results directly from an LCD panel. The new models also cut time spent at the printer; the MultiXpress CLX-9350ND and CLX-9250ND color models print at 35 and 25 max pages per minute (ppm) and the MultiXpress SCX-8040ND and SCX-8030ND mono models print at the speed of 40 and 30 max ppm.

The MultiXpress A3 line is also extremely versatile, allowing for speedy, seamless network installation and customization in the workplace thanks to Samsung’s eXtensible Open Architecture (XOA) platform. With the MultiXpress devices, business users can print, copy, scan and fax all on one machine for lower total cost of ownership.

The A3 line has advanced security features built-in for increased safety for printing confidential information in sensitive work environments that may include healthcare, financial and education institutions. Print job password authentication and email encryption features further ensure security should they be needed.

The CLX-9350ND and CLX-9250ND multifunction color printers and MultiXpress SCX-8040ND and SCX-8030ND mono printers, are all currently available nationwide.
