The Rollei Flexline 250 is made from high-quality, hard-wearing aluminium and is available in either a stylish black or silver finish, meaning it is both a sight to be behold and a delight to hold. The overall user-friendly impression is rounded off by the two high-performance batteries that are supplied with the camera. The RRP is 199 Euros.
Just like the top-of-the-range model featuring twelve megapixel sensor resolution, the Flexline 200 also ‘steadies’ the photographer’s hand. This camera’s ‘anti-shake’ function defies poor lighting conditions by optimising the exposure times with, for example, high ISO sensitivity levels. 21 motif programmes allow the user to select between 200 different settings, easy-to-select ad-hoc solutions for all standard photo-taking situations.
Thanks to PictBridge mode, the Flexline 200 can send its image data via the USB interface directly to a PC that supports this widespread standard. The camera’s high resolution produces razor-sharp prints up to a wall-filling A3 format.
The high-contrast three inch screen facilitates precise image composition as well as the rapid display and checking of the pictures taken. As with all Flexline models, the 200 also comes with a spare battery as standard.
With a street price of 129 Euros, the Flexline 140 presents an inexpensive entry-level camera in this series from Rollei. With a 10-megapixel resolution, focal lengths from 30 to 128 mm, all of which is packaged in an ultra-slim 20 mm body and equipped with the classic Flexline convenience functions – it has all the characteristics of a compact camera that permits all-round, highly versatile use.
