Photo industry veteran Rob Comeau has joined Advertek Inc., a specialist in personalized printing, as Director of Business Development. According to a press release, Comeau will leverage his decades of experience in specialty photo retailing, professional and travel photography as well as wholesale printing sales to build customer relationships in the fast-growing North American photo personalization market.
Founded in 1996, Advertek Inc., based in Toronto, ONT, Canada, offers a full range of traditional commercial printing services, personalization and mail, large-format printing, as well as bindery and finishing. In recent years, the company has added digital photo personalization printing, dye-sublimation printing and photo gifting services to its portfolio.
“Advertek has steadily gained share in the online photo printing and gifting market,” said co-CEO Joe Montalbano, who bought the Advertek business together with co-CEO Simon Spina in 1999. “Bringing Rob on board is the next step to expand our customer base across North America.”
