PSPA and SPAA conference attendees may also attend the WPPI conference, from Feb. 21-23, for package price, only $100 more than the conference fee. Attendance at the WPPI trade show is included with the PSPA and SPAA conference fee.
“PMA remains committed to these two important photographer groups,” says Ted Fox, executive director, PMA. “When we announced in June the September dates from PMA 2011, we understood the first-quarter time period is ideal for the school portrait, sports, and event photo markets. This co-location agreement allows PMA to continue to provide industry-specific educational and networking opportunities at this more convenient timeframe to these important industry segments.”
PSPA President Mark Schoenrock, Lifetouch National School Studios Inc., Eden Prairie, Minn., notes the “new beginning for PSPA” with the conference, pointing out the optimum location and month (first quarter of the calendar) for the event for the school photographer. “The Vegas venue, access to a high-quality trade show, a fresh conference format and the industry’s best education – it will all add up to one productive industry happening,” said Schoenrock. “Without question, PSPA 2011 is a must attend event for those interested in school photography.”
SPAA Committee members are ecstatic as well with the announcement, heading into their 5th annual conference since joining as a member association of PMA.
