With the automatic signal detection and Direct Power On/Off features, you can start your presentation in just a few moments. If you need to move on to the next lecture room, the units can be turned off and stored away immediately after your presentation. With a lamp output of 1,500 (PLC-XW50) and 2,000 ANSI lumens (PLC-XW55), you can project brilliant images even in broad daylight in rooms that cannot be darkened. The XGA resolution (1024 x 768) guarantees razor-sharp display of small details. The horizontal and vertical keystone correction delivers distortion-free images even if the projector is not parallel to the screen. At 29 db, the operating level is barely audible (even in small rooms where the projector is often right next to the audience). Without any distracting fan noise, your audience is free to concentrate on your presentation completely. For presentations in very small groups, a monitor can easily be connected to the projector’s integrated monitor output connector. The unit is protected by a security PIN feature as well. The projector can only be used after entering the correct code.

The 24-hr replacement service is ideal for schools and small businesses that are unlikely to have a backup unit available. Should the unit ever fail during the warranty period, a replacement unit is provided for the duration of the repair within 24 hours. The PLC-XW50 and PLC-XW55 will be available in stores as of the end of September 2006. The recommended retail price of the PLC-XW50 is 800 euros and 900 euros for the PLC-XW55. These prices do not include VAT.
