The PMA Education & Research Foundation has a board consisting of retailers and suppliers. The Foundation is incorporated in the state of Michigan and has a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service. PMA members and nonmembers can make a tax-deductible contribution to the Foundation each year on a membership dues renewal form or by contacting PMA directly at 517-788-8100. The Foundation also welcomes the sponsorships of special programs or services from supplier and retail partners.
Funds and contributions may be used for industry promotions and other industry initiatives (e.g., the PMA Monthly Printing and Camera Trends Reports and the annual U.S. Photo Industry Review and Forecast Report) to assist in the growth and awareness of photography and imaging-related industries. Contributions may also be utilized for industry enhancement. Sponsorship categories of Elite ($250,000-plus), Leadership ($100,000-plus), Gold ($50,000-plus), Silver ($10,000-plus), Bronze ($5,000-plus) and Individual ($1,000-plus) feature varying recognition levels, commensurate to the level of contribution.
