The biggest change is its transition from a competition-based concept to an Industry Workshop Program where all participants are recognized and presented as “Future Leaders” of the Industry. The program offers a series of free one-day Leadership Workshops this spring held in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, where entrants are trained in self-development, presentation and management skills. The Young Achiever programs’ long-time training partner, The Friedman Group, will conduct these workshops.
All Future Leaders participants will be given a complimentary Best Value Pass to the Imaging & Entertainment Expo in June and will be presented with certificates. Also, there will be an ‘Exceptional Future Leader’ chosen from each Workshop and awarded a certificate of recognition.
While the age range for participants is expanded to include all industry employees ages 18-30, the program now covers all areas of the industry, not just retail. Entries close April 20. For more information, contact PMAAustralia@pmai.org.
