This year’s event will reflect the dynamic development of the Korean photo and imaging market with approximately 500,000 digital cameras sold in the country last year, according to GfK Marketing Service Korea. By the year 2005, the Korean market is expected to break the one million digital cameras barrier.
Jointly organized by Coex and the Korea Optical Industry Association (KOIA) and supported by Korea‘s Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy, Photo & Imaging 2003 will present the latest cameras and accessories, digital imaging systems, photo processing equipment, studio products and video cameras. Last year, the trade show featured 129 exhibitors and attracted more than 25,000 visitors (professionals only).
