Panasonic announces six new Lumix digital cameras

Together with 24mm ultra wide-angle of view, the TZ25 covers even wider shooting situations with its outstanding versatility and high mobility. For more effective countermeasure against hand-shake, which tends to occur in shooting with high zoom, POWER O.I.S.(Optical Image Stabiliser) with Active Mode is equipped to powerfully suppress blur in both photo and video recording.

The FT4 does not compromise on picture quality thanks to the LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens in folded optics, 12.1-megapixel Hi-Speed CCD sensor and the advanced image processing LSI Venus Engine. Bold and rugged, yet intricately designed the FT4 is the perfect outdoor, active camera.

The DMC-FT20 is waterproof to a depth of 5m and dustproof equivalent to the "IPX8" and "IP6X" standard – making it perfect for use at the beach, in the sea, biking, walking and even skiing and snowboarding. Waterproofing means users can shoot in the rain or snow with no worries – so now there’s no reason not to record adventures whether it’s rain, snow or shine.

The DMC-FX80 incorporates a high quality LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMARIT lens that boasts excellent brightness of F2.5. The F2.5 lens is approx. 25% brighter than the F2.8 lens which has been previously offered in this class of camera. It allows the use of higher shutter speeds whilst capturing stunningly clear, sharp, blur-free images even in lower lighting situation. Together with the MEGA Optical Image Stabiliser (O.I.S). In the Intelligent Auto (iA) mode, the DMC-FX80 powerfully suppresses blur caused by the movement of subjects – great for portraits at parties or pictures of babies without using flash.

The DMC-LS6 boasts a 26mm wide angle, 5x optical zoom high quality lens. The 26mm wide angle lens captures approx. 181% larger viewing space compared with that of standard 35mm camera, which excels in shooting vast landscapes or crowded subjects even at a short distance indoors. The 5x optical zoom draws subjects close without deterioration of image quality unlike using a digital zoom. A lens with F2.8 brightness is a premium feature in this class of camera, and helpful to capture clear images even in dimly lit situations like nighttime or indoors.
