Noritsu divests Lucidiom

Since Noritsu’s acquisition of a majority interest in Lucidiom in December 2009, Noritsu and Lucidiom had endeavored to create synergy effects that were of value to their customers, Noritsu said. While the company believes that Noritsu and Lucidiom achieved a level of success in their strategic activities, they have come to the conclusion that, with a view to both company’s further growth, it is time they constructively separate and chart their respective own direction towards the next phase of their business.

In the press release, Noritsu thanked Lucidiom for their many contributions to the company and expressed sincere wishes for continued growth and success in Lucidiom‘s future operations.

Separately, Lucidiom announced the election of Michael Clayton-Gale and Jason Pareti to the copmany‘s Board of Directors. Clayton-Gale joined Lucidiom in 2003 and is currently the European Managing Director. He has over 30 years of international experience drawn from successful senior management positions for a U.S. oil corporation plus several new European ventures and start-up businesses. Clayton-Gale has a BA Honors Degree in Business Finance. Previously, he was CEO of an Internet-based B2B business service company, and served as Managing Director for UK FTSE Listed and Private Companies in the retail & food service industry.

Pareti is one of the founders of Lucidiom and the company’s CTO. He has guided Lucidiom’s technical operations from idea conception to market leader. Pareti oversees product design, development and customer support for the full Lucidiom product line. Together with his team, he has realized Lucidiom’s vision of a global network of interconnected kiosks, lab management stations and online retail destinations. Prior to joining Lucidiom, Pareti was part of the founding team at Digital Now, serving as the Director of Internet and Consumer Development. Jason Pareti holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
