Noritsu appoints new President

He succeeds Yukihiko Chayama, who will assume the post of Corporate Executive Advisor on Noritsu’s Board of Directors. Hirotsugu Nishimoto is the son-in-law of Noritsu’s founder and long-time president and CEO, the late Kanishi Nishimoto. Hirotsugu Nishimoto joined Noritsu in 1993, but left the company in December 2006 to become a Director of Nishomoto Kosan K. K., a company owned by the Nishimoto family with the objective to explore new business opportunities. In April 2007, he founded Mix Lighting Corporation as Representative Director and President and is still in this position. In April 2008, Nishimoto was appointed Executive Director of Nishimoto Kosan K. K., and in April 2009, he was appointed President of NK Relations Co. Ltd, a position he still holds. In June 2009, Hirotsugu Nishimoto joined Noritsu Koki’s Board of Directors and became Representative Director and Executive Managing Director of the company in December 2009.

Noritsu has also announced the appointment of Masafumi Yamamoto as General Manager of the Sales Unit and General Manager of the Sales Division, a position held by Yukihiko Chayama since February this year in addition to his function as President. Most recently, Yamamoto was Special Assistant to the General Manager of both the Sales Unit and the Sales Division.
