In addition to support for recording of 14-bit compressed NEF (RAW) images, the Coolpix A features a number of advanced functions such as a manual focus ring that can be used to achieve creative intent, 1920 x 1080/30p Full-HD movie capability. The camera body is designed in an attractive metallic look and feel, while an extremely durable magnesium alloy has been adopted for the top cover. A leather accent on the grip and dials cut from metal underline the elegant finish.
