New President for Fujifilm Europe

After graduating from Hitotsubashi University, Tokyo, Takahashi joined Fujifilm in 1975. He held several positions in the company’s Recording Media Products Divison, including the function of President of Fujifilm Recording Media U.S.A., Inc., based in New York. Most recently, he was Director, Senior Vice President and Deputy General Manager of Corporate Planning Headquarters at Fujifilm Corporation, Tokyo. Takahashi is now based in Duesseldorf, Germany.

“Within recent years, the organizational network throughout Europe has been expanded and strengthened. In areas where we are expecting dynamic growth, we have established new subsidiaries, namely in Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and Scandinavia” , commented Takahashi. “I will continue the work of my predecessor and further develop the regional headoffice functions of Fujifilm Europe, managing the operations of all of our Business Domains across Europe. We continue to successfully grow our strategic core businesses and strengthen our position in traditional business segments at the same time.
