The new camera is equipped with a 12.1 MP CMOS sensor and the Digic 5 image processor and offers a 8x zoom lens with a focal lens of f3.0–5.9.
The new Powershot N Facebook ready edition features several functions such as the “Facebook Connect” button for the quick upload of photos and videos to Facebook. The “Creative Shot” mode stores, in addition to the original photo, five unique, artistic versions of the original picture by using various filters and effects.
The camera is further equipped with a 2.8“ touchscreen, which is also titlable allowing for taking pictures in nearly every position.
The limited edition of the PowerShot N will be available from mid of September.
