Mohawk launches proPhoto paper

According to the manufacturer, Mohawk Panoramic Papers allow HP Indigo printers to create photo-rich books or gorgeous marketing collateral with no gutter, no concerns about matching color across a spread, and a true lay-flat presentation. Mohawk has paired its exclusive i-Tone digital surface treatment with the TRU-Flat cohesive-glue binding technology from Convertible Solutions to create pre-converted sheets which are very simple to bind. The pages are printed on an HP Indigo press, scored and folded using a standard bindery folder, stacked and then put under pressure to create a finished book block with beautiful images flowing seamlessly across the fold.

Mohawk proPhoto’s lustre finish professional photo paper is HP Indigo certified and provides incomparable ink adhesion with true photographic reproduction in a reflection-free finish that reduces glare while repelling fingerprints, providing printers and their customers with a spectacular lay-flat substrate for photo-rich books, calendars, brochures, posters, yearbooks and other specialty photo items. Mohawk proPhoto Panoramic papers are available in 190 and 260 gsm in 18.5” x 12” sheets from select Mohawk distributors.
