Minox introduces new binocular line

Top of the range features include the 21 layers of the M* multicoating and the silver-bearing Minobright reflection of the phase-corrected roof prisms. Handling of the binoculars has been optimized further with the Quick-Close-Focus (QCF). Just a single turn of the focusing knob is enough to adjust a sharp image from infinity to close-up, enabling a very fast adjustment in the near-focus range and precision focusing at greater distances. The distance scale on the central focusing wheel informs the user of the distance to the subject in view.

A feature that is both attractive and functional is the large focusing wheel of metal design, the criss-cross pattern giving it and the diopter compensation ring an excellent grip. To avoid light reflections both these parts have an anodized gun-metal grey finish (APO-HG line).

The Minox APO-HG additionally boasts very high quality ED glass and offers the user an outstanding optical performance. The special MINOTEC multicoating on the outer surfaces of the objective and eyepiece lenses greatly enhance outdoor use. With this innovative surface structure the adherence of any dust particles or grease is prevented and cleaning is made quick and easy.

The body with its waisted design is made of extremely robust and exceptionally light magnesium. Together with the protective rubber armoring the light weight of these binoculars is unbeatable. The APO-HG and HG binoculars are watertight to a depth of up to five meters, and to ensure reliable, lasting protection against corrosion and fogging the body is also filled with argon gas.

Both model ranges come with an ever-ready case as well as a neoprene strap, the APO-HG binoculars are additionally delivered with an lens cleaning set in an exclusive wooden box.
