LifePics Releases Plug-in for Adobe Lightroom

The plug-in was developed by a third party software developer through the LifePics OPEN program, a public API program that allows developers to create mobile and software photo apps that send orders to retail photofinishers who use LifePics’ online photo services. The OPEN program implements a revenue share model: retailers make money from the orders generated by the third party apps, and developers earn money for every user, image, or order their app produces.

Lightroom users who install the plug-in can order through their existing LifePics account, or create a new account within the plug-in and order to the retailer that is most convenient. Users can opt to pay online or in-store, depending on what the retailer allows. All of the chosen retailers’ prices and products automatically load during the checkout process. The plug-in works on both Macs and PCs.
