Konica Minolta will provide its line of multifunctional products (MFPs – print, copy, fax, and scan all in one system), printers, and faxes for use during the week-long fan favorite.
The 2011 Bob Hope Classic will continue the same course rotation as 2010, and will mark the second straight year, the Classic has been played solely within the limits of the City of La Quinta. Tournament play began Wednesday, January 19th and concludes on Sunday, January 23rd at the Palmer Private at PGA WEST.
The five-day Classic features 128 top PGA TOUR professionals and 384 amateur contestants, including more than 30 celebrities. Defending champion Bill Haas and past champions Mark Brooks, Chad Campbell, Joe Durant, David Duval, Charley Hoffman, Justin Leonard and Mike Weir headline the pro entries for the 2011 Classic. Olympic gold medalist Sugar Ray Leonard is set to make his inaugural appearance as a celebrity amateur golfer in the Bob Hope Classic, and is joined by other celebrity participants including Alice Cooper, John O’Hurley, Evan Longoria, Bo Jackson, and Kurt Russell. All five days of the Classic will be televised on The Golf Channel.
Starting with Friday’s third round and ending with Sunday’s final round, Konica Minolta will showcase their award-winning lines of digital printing hardware and software technologies in the Sponsors Pavilion by the Media Center.
