Koelnmesse announces date of photokina 2019

During the annual meeting of the German Photographic Industry Association (PIV) in May this year, Koelnmesse and the Association announced a complete repositioning of photokina including a new annual cycle and the shift to the month of May. Under the claim “Imaging Unlimited”, which was introduced 2016, the new photokina is set to not only show innovations from the core areas of the imaging workflow, but also the entire range of products, applications and services that are relevant for new segments, such as Virtual and Augmented Reality, Cloud Computing, Image Recognition, Computer Generated Imaging (CGI) and Robotics.
