Kodak expands Capture Software Suite

Kodak Document Viewer Software and Kodak Scan and View Software enable enterprise organizations to use paper documents to trigger specific workflows, speed up existing processes and add more value to business operations. Web-based software programs make it easy to find, review, compare, annotate and scan documents from within SharePoint environments.

Kodak Document Viewer Software embeds an inline document preview function directly within SharePoint. A visual search function provides full document previews within search results on SharePoint. Document Viewer Software can display document previews in either thumbnail or full page format and users may zoom in and out or fit the document to the width of screen. Document previews are especially fast because Kodak’s viewing software doesn’t need to wait for the entire document to be transmitted and has compatibility with more than 300 file types, allowing users to review virtually any file stored in SharePoint, even if the application associated with the file is not installed on the user’s computer or workstation.

Kodak Document Viewer Software and Kodak Scan and View Software will be available beginning in May of 2011. Availability will vary by geographic location.
