As China’s printing industry moves toward sustainability and increased automation, the All In Print exhibition focused on innovation, upgrades, integration and development in advanced printing technologies. With the theme, “It’s Time for You AND Kodak—Green, Innovative, Digital and Fast,” Kodak’s booth featured a variety of products and services that help businesses achieve efficiency and business growth.
Kodak debuted a Kodak Prosper 1000 Press accompanied by MBO Palamides alpha 700 solution and a HUNKELER roll to cutter solution. All In Print was the first showing of the Palamides alpha 700 anywhere in Asia. To demonstrate complete book manufacturing production, Kodak printed and bound books on the show floor using JMD’s newest Robot Bindery.
The Kodak PROSPER 1000 Press, which uses revolutionary Kodak Stream Inkjet Technology, was on display at the Kodak booth and extremely popular with attendees. The monochrome inkjet web press solution features an automated Image Quality Management System and delivers print quality comparable to that of offset printing. With line screens approaching 175 lpi, monthly page volumes averaging 90 million, and speeds of 200 mpm (650 fpm), the PROSPER 1000 Press is ideal for printing books, direct mail, and other digital printing applications.
Kodak booth visitors also saw package printing solutions, including the Kodak Flexcel NX System, an award-winning digital plate production system.
Kodak Unified Workflow Solutions featured new versions of the Kodak Prinergy Workflow System, Kodak Colorflow Software, Kodak Preps Imposition Software and the new Kodak Insite Prepress Portal System application for iPad tablets. These products highlighted production optimization, increased automation, operational efficiencies and mobile capabilities, while enhancing business offerings to their clients.
Visitors also learned about the Konica Minolta Bizhub Press C6000, a powerful system for production printing.
