Brinkman’s topic is titled “Leadership in Action”; he will address how to influence positive behavior, increase motivation and morale, and increase productivity. “In times of rapid change and the need to do more with less, leaders must create an inspiring environment, empower others, and provide useful feedback,” says Brinkman. “Leaders need to create an attitude of continuous improvement, and rally people around greater visions and goals. With the PSPA and SPAA attendees, I am certainly looking forward to expounding on the strategies and techniques surrounding great leadership.”
In 1988, Brinkman was one of only 15 people selected by the Tom Peters Group to present the In Search of Excellence and Thriving on Chaos programs. Brinkman has coupled his years of research as a trainer for Fortune 500 companies and the Institute for Management Studies with Peters’ strategies in his Leadership in Action program.
