J. J. Bockemühl retires

Jobo was founded by Bockemühl’s parents 80 years ago, and was completely restructured last year, when the company was turned into an AG, which is now run by

J. J. Bockemühl’s brother-in-law, Manfred Hoefken, as Chairman of the Board, his son Johannes Bockemühl and Dr. M. Manazza.

Separately, Jobo AG has announced an agreement with Jenoptik Laser, Optik, Systeme GmbH, a 100 percent subsidiary of the German technology group Jenoptik AG, Jena. Jobo will market Jenoptik’s “eyelike” digital systems for medium and large format cameras in many countries around the world.
