Institute for graphics and imaging reschedules boot camp for digital print process control

The course previously scheduled for August 11, 2009, will now be held on October 8, 2009. The course will be conducted by Jim Raffel , the CEO of ColorMetrix Technologies. Appropriate for general managers, prepress personnel, pressroom managers, or anyone responsible for ensuring that quality color is produced in the print shop, the course will culminate with an actual press run on the IGI Kodak NexPress. Tuition for the course has been reduced to $195, and enrollment entitles participants to a $350 discount on a subscription to ProofPass.com. Course details and registration forms may be found at www.igi.org/events/IGI_Raffel3_ProcessControl_F.pdf.

Discussing the rescheduled course, IGI Executive Director Ron Dahl commented: “IGI is pleased to welcome Jim Raffel , a widely known and respected color expert with extensive pressroom experience, to the IGI teaching staff. His Digital Print Process Control Boot Camp is being offered with special incentives to acquaint printing personnel with IGI.”
