Hoeft holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Communications with emphasis in Print Management from the University of Wisconsin —Platteville. She held a number of graphic arts and production positions at various Quad/Graphics companies before joining IGI, and has extensive experience with graphic design software.
Announcing the appointment, IGI Executive Director Ron Dahl commented: “The Institute for Graphics and Imaging is fortunate to gain the experience Barbara Hoeft brings to developing and managing its training curriculum. Her extensive contacts in the graphic arts community in the upper Midwest also will benefit IGI.”
The Institute for Graphics and Imaging provides education and training in the graphic design, printing, and related industries. Supported by a vast network of industry suppliers, printers, publishers, and governmental agencies, IGI operates on the campus of the Waukesha County Technical College in suburban Milwaukee . IGI facilities, which include computer classrooms and access to the latest printing equipment, are available for sales events and corporate training courses.
