Instagram launches Layout

When the user opens Layout and chooses photos from his or her camera roll, the app automatically displays previews of custom layouts. Users can then drag & drop photos to re-arrange them, pinch to zoom or pull the sides of each photo to adjust its size. It’s also possible to flip and rotate the pictures to create cool arrangements and mirror effects.

For spontaneous storytelling, the Photo Booth feature can be used to start a countdown and capture photos that are instantly arranged in a layout.

Layout from Instagram is available immediately for iOS devices in Apple’s App store. An Android version will be available in the coming months.
