Imaging Solutions appoints new CEO

In this role, Bauer will exclusively focus on long and mid-term strategic issues and business development while Bayer will be in charge of the company’s operations.

A native of Freiburg/Breisgau, Germany, Ralph Bayer, who is 43 year old, brings profound knowledge in developing marketing dedicated machinery and investment goods to Imaging Solutions. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering and graduated in business administration at the University of Sheffield, the UK.

At the upcoming photokina, which will take place September 21 to 26, 2010, in Cologne, Germany, Imaging Solutions will introduce three new products, including an updated version of its powerful Viesus Image Enhancement software. Under the bold headline “We are bullish on prints”, the company will also present the world’s fastest XL high-speed printer (for silver-halide posters and large-format photo book pages) as well as the first all-in-one high-speed photo booklet system fastBooklet at its booth in Hall 4.1.
