HP to take over Pixaco

Early 2005, HP took over the U.S. online photofinisher Snapfish. The company will integrate special services provided by Snapfish into the Pixaco range of services and offer users a wide range of opportunities to print, share and archive their digital images. According to HP, Snapfish has 20 million registered users in the U.S. and the UK and is adding one million people every month to its customer list.

Pixaco was founded in 2003 by Bilderservice.de and offers online photofinishing services in eleven European countries. The company will continue to operate under the Pixaco brand in Europe.
