HP managed print services identified as a leader in IDC MarketScape Study

The IDC study found that HP has leveraged HP Enterprise Services to yield a number of very large MPS contracts. IDC stated that HP has a proven track record of training and effectively deploying a large, direct sales organization. Additionally, IDC mentioned that HP’s services portfolio reflects rich enhancements to the manageability of its hardware devices through the use of its embedded Open Extensibility Platform (OXP) architecture, integration with its existing software platforms and those of partners, and strong alignment with its service delivery channels.

According to IDC’s study, HP’s strength and key differentiators rest on its ability to deliver focused and effective solutions through both direct and indirect channels. The study found that HP’s portfolio, sales, marketing and customer services strategies and execution capabilities were especially strong.
