Fujifilm wins DIMA Photo Kiosk Shoot-out award

“We are honored to receive the DIMA Instant Print Kiosk Award for our GetPix Kiosk system,” said Jim Riekert, director of marketing, Imaging Division – Kiosks, Fujifilm U.S.A., Inc. “Print order terminals and instant printers are an increasingly important part of the retail photo solution, and we aim to provide customers with the most easy-to-use system that prints high quality photos in a matter of minutes.”

The GetPix VP2 Kiosk is an easy-to-use self-service digital print kiosk that offers state of the art technology and a fast order turnaround time, allowing for shorter customer lines and an increase in customer satisfaction. The highly reliable dye-sublimation printers produce high quality prints with minimal staff maintenance and low service costs. In addition, the upgradable technology allows for investment protection, and Intelligent Media Inserts accommodate new media, ensuring that your equipment remains current and options are available for mobile devices. Retailer replaceable media inserts and parts do not require service calls or special training to replace, resulting in a lower total cost of ownership.

Fujifilm continues to expand the GetPix Kiosk solutions that enable retailers to provide high quality, instant prints with innovative printing and software technologies. At PMA 2009, Fujifilm announced the GetPix Kiosk Terminal Software “TS,” a key differentiator for the GetPix VP2 Printer System. The TS software expands the ability of retailers to respond to changing needs quickly by simply adding plug-in software for TS to offer in-store, on-screen promotions, as well as a variety of additional print services from Fujifilm, such as shuffle print, stained glass collage, photo books and gifts and poster prints. Combined with a touch panel display interface, the new software helps to ensure a user-friendly print ordering process.
