In the S-series, the new FinePix S2950HD, which is identical to the S2800HD released last year, is equipped with an 18x optical zoom lens and also offers a 28-50mmm lens, 3.0" LCD and 14 megapixel sensor. A new feature is the company’s easy web upload function. It allows to tag pictures for speedy upload to Facebook and YouTube. The FinePix S2950 is capable of playing back both HD stills (Full HD) and movies (720p) in high quality on any HDTV TV set. With the Smile and Shoot mode, the camera can recognize the exact moment the subject smiles and releases the shutter. The Blink Detection function warns if subjects have blinked so that photos can be re-taken.
Also new in the S-series are the two FinePix S3200 and S4000 cameras. Both cameras are equipped with a 14 megapixel CCD and 24mm wide-angle Fujinon optics. The FinePix S3200 and S400 can capture Full HD photos and 720p HD videos (30fps) to be played-back on a HDTV TV set. The Auto Scene Recognition technology allows to register whether a picture of a person or a landscape is taken or if it is a night or macro shot. With the easy-web-upload function, photos and videos can be tagged for Facebook and YouTube.
In Fujifilm’s F-series, the company presents the GPS-enabled FinePix F500 EXR and F550 EXR (photo). The two cameras feature a 16 megapixel EXR CMOS sensor, a 15x optical zoom lens (24-360mm) and a 3" LCD display.
In the H-series, Fujifilm presents the FinePix HS20 EXR with a 16 Megapixel EXR CMOS sensor and a 3" LCD display. It offers a 30x (24-720mm) optical zoom lens and full 1080p HD video recording capabilities.
