Fujifilm named Top 100 Global Innovator

The Thomson Reuters 2015 Top 100 Global Innovator methodology is based on four principle criteria: “overall patent volume”, “patent grant success rate”, “global reach of the portfolio” and “patent influence as evidenced by citations”, using Thomson Reuters’ intellectual property and intelligence collaboration platform. Fujifilm was selected as one of the top 100 companies for its particularly high recognition of the “patent grant success rate” as well as high ratings in the other criteria.

Fujifilm said it strives to continue creating value for society and contributing to resolving social issues while seeking opportunities for business growth, and to develop intellectual properties that significantly contribute to business through close coordination of business and R&D. The company will continue to promote active R&D and work to protect and utilize intellectual properties developed from such R&D, to contribute to the enhancement of the corporate value of the global Fujifilm Group and sustainable social development.
