Fujifilm establishes subsidiary in South Africa and representative office in Morocco

Since the 1970s, Fujifilm has built its business foundation in the region, offering digital cameras, photographic films and photographic papers through local distributors. The latest move to establish a subsidiary and a representative office is designed to enable a more detailed response to customer needs and further reinforce the business foundation in the region.

With the establishment of Fujifilm South Africa, the company will build a direct selling system for swiftly deploying market-oriented sales and marketing activities, and expand sales channels and reinforce advertising activities for digital cameras and imaging products including photographic papers, so as to dynamically facilitate the development of the business’s sales strategy.

Furthermore, a representative office opened in the Kingdom of Morocco for business expansion in the French-speaking countries in northern and western Africa, mainly consisting of the Maghreb nations including Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria. The office will provide marketing support to local distributors concerning imaging, medical and graphics products.
